Overview

The successful candidate will be a part of the Process and Analytical Sciences group to work in the lab with other team members. Responsibilities will include process development, in-house non-GMP manufacturing and other related activities for siRNA oligonucleotides.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Oligonucleotide manufacturing process development, optimization and scale up

  • Optimization of downstream processing

  • Manufacturing of oligonucleotide APIs in non-GMP environment

  • Daily lab and equipment maintenance

  • In-process analytical method development and optimization

  • SOPs and manufacturing documents drafting/ reviewing according to regulatory and procedural guidelines

  • Technical protocols and reports drafting and reviewing supports.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS with 2-5 years of experience or PhD in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or relevant areas. Experience in industrial settings is preferred

  • Knowledge in solid-phase synthesis and hands-on operational experience with using and trouble-shooting automated solid-phase synthesizers are a plus.

  • Thorough understanding of process development approaches.

  • Strong technical background in HPLC analytical, purification techniques and downstream processes

  • Good communication skills
