Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Provides research and teaching related support to Professors Risen, Levine, and White (17.5 hours per week).
- Conducts research with human participants in the RFCDR Labs and other research locations.
- Organizes data collection efforts for Professors Risen and Levine, as well as their graduate student and postdoctoral research teams.
- Hires, trains, schedules, and manages research assistants for Professors Risen and Levine, and serve as time approver for the research assistants in Workday.
- Works with Risen and Levine Lab postdocs and graduate students to design, optimize, and troubleshoot study materials, and project manage the studies conducted by the Risen and Levine lab members.
- Manages and maintains datasets for studies conducted by the Risen and Levine Labs, and conducts and presents data analysis as needed.
- Organizes, schedules, and attends lab meetings and related events for Professors Risen and Levine.
- Assists in research and preparation of materials related to course development for Professors Risen and Levine.
- Manages expenses using UChicago ePayment and GEMS online systems.
- Develops data-collection opportunities for Professors Risen and Levine. This could include attending professional conferences and administering surveys, reaching out to local business to run studies, setting up field sites, conducting research online, etc.
- When mutually agreed upon, may take on TA responsibilities to support classes taught by Professors Risen, Levine and White.
- Manages research operations for the RFCDR Labs, and conducts research with human participants.
- Assists in coordinating with external research partners, and in creating new research partnerships for the CDR Labs.
- Conducts CDR faculty research with human participants in the CDR Labs as needed.
- Works with lab staff, postdocs, and graduate students to design, optimize, and troubleshoot study materials.
- Enters and codes study data as needed.
- Assists in designing creative solutions to market studies and recruit participants for the RFCDR Labs.
- Assists in maintaining operational records for the CDR Labs, and conducts and presents data analysis as needed from these records.
- Assists the CDR Administrative Office on projects and events as needed.
- Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
- Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of psychology, organizational behavior, or marketing.
Experience:
- At least one year of experience in conducting computer, web-based, and interpersonal interaction-based experiments.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Collaborate and interact professionally with faculty, students, and staff.
- Good organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
- This position is currently expected to work a minimum three days per week in the office.
