Responsibilities

The primary role of clinical faculty is to support the teaching mission of the department and to provide meaningful connections to practicing professionals. Clinical faculty members must engage in career development activities and department support activities consistent with their role based on the nature of their educational and professional experience as well as time allocated for such activities.

Clinical faculty members hired by the Hankamer School of Business will have one of two profiles: Scholarship or Professional. Faculty members pursing the scholarship track will normally possess a terminal degree and will focus on scholarship and the generation of intellectual contributions in addition to their teaching responsibilities. Faculty members pursuing the professional track will possess a master’s degree and a portfolio of recent relevant professional experience appropriate for the level of courses they are expected to teach.

Required Qualifications

A Master’s degree or higher is required with three years of professional/educational experience.
