We are seeking an exceptional scholar whose research and teaching contribute to our Organizational Behavior programs. The Division of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences (DBOS) at Claremont Graduate University has graduate programs in Organizational Behavior, Positive Organizational Psychology, and Human Resource Management. The candidate’s research and teaching should contribute to one of these graduate programs.

This is a tenure-track graduate faculty position at the rank of advanced Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates should have completed the PhD, demonstrate a strong record of or potential for research publications, possess outstanding teaching and mentoring skills, and have a history of, or potential for, extramural funding. The successful candidate will be expected to supervise graduate student research and to teach courses in our MA and PhD programs.

CGU is an independent institution devoted entirely to graduate study. The city of Claremont is a charming small town located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and less than 50 miles from Southern California beaches. CGU is also a member of The Claremont Colleges, a highly regarded cluster of seven independent colleges that is nationally and internationally renowned for academic excellence.

CGU is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, religion, ancestry, sex, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, marital status, or any other basis protected by applicable laws in its employment or hiring practices.

Claremont Graduate University is committed to increasing the diversity of the campus community and the curriculum. Candidates who can contribute to that goal are encouraged to identify their strengths and experiences in this area through a brief diversity statement. Applicants who have a demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity and inclusion are particularly encouraged to apply as are individuals who have membership in one or more of the following groups whose underrepresentation in the American professoriate has been severe and longstanding: Alaska Natives, American Indians, Blacks/African Americans, Mexican Americans/Chicanas/Chicanos, Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders, and Puerto Ricans. Further information on DBOS and CGU can be found at http://www.cgu.edu. Evaluation of candidates will begin February 1, 2019 and continue until the position is filled. This position is subject to the approval by the Board of Trustees.

Submit a CV, research statement, brief diversity statement, and the names and contact information for three references by email to dbossearch@cgu.edu, or by postal mail to:
