In this role, you'll work as part of a diverse and knowledgeable team, collaborating on the re-engineering and application of best practices to support our growing infrastructure across four different classified environments.

 

As a Systems Administrator, the role will be to...

  • Provide engineering, configuration, maintenance, and support for physical and virtual systems (servers, appliances, workstations) and applications, ensuring compliance with DoD STIGs, RMF Controls, and IAVMs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Work in traditional infrastructure and VMware virtualization.
  • Perform day-to-day operations, optimization, and troubleshooting of the infrastructure.
  • Communicate technical details effectively to a diverse audience.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related professional work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working in a classified environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
  • Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft services.
  • Demonstrated experience using scripting languages with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with any of the following technologies: Rubrik, Unity, PDQ, WSUS, ESXi, vCenter, Horizon View, SolarWinds, Splunk, Infoblox, and/or RSA.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), process improvements and supporting documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple-task across varying duties and projects simultaneously.
  • A current industry certification aligned to DoD Manual 8570, 01-M for IAT II
  • Hold an active Secret level security clearance and can obtain a Top Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

You 'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have...

  • A Master’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
  • An industry system or operational certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Professional).
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Experience creating and administering environments using RHEL.
  • Experience implementing and utilizing Linux orchestration tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
  • Experience with VMware VDI implementation and/or operations.
  • Skills to administer Microsoft Exchange environments.
  • Knowledge or experience using system monitoring tools and/or SIEM such as SolarWinds and Splunk
