Job Description

Students working in the Office of Student Engagement will gain experience with: planning campus events and activities, working in the campus Food Pantry, learning how to interact with peers or other customers, advertising and marketing initiatives, professional development opportunities, interacting with campus leadership and other faculty and staff, conducting surveys and evaluation of events, and completing general office administrative tasks. Students will work in the Pantry and will provide programming support before, during, and after campus events. Successful students should have an interest in being engaged, taking initiative, strong time management and organization skills, and a willingness to talk and interact with other students, staff, faculty, and campus leaders.

• Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
• Adhere to College's confidentiality policy;
• Successfully pass background/drug screening;
• Answer phone and take messages;
• Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
• Open and sort mail;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills;
• Willingness to learn new technology;
• Assist with special projects;
• Other duties as assigned.
