Job Description
Sauk Valley Community College, a comprehensive community college located in a picturesque rural setting invites applications from innovative individuals for an on campus Adjunct Geography Faculty position.
Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River between the cities of Dixon and Sterling, the College is one hour from Rockford and the Quad Cities and two hours west of Chicago.
Responsibilities:
To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses. Reports directly to the Dean of General Education and Transfer Programs who is the supervisor over the position.
Qualifications:
Masters in Geography or related or 18 graduate credit hours in Geography required.
