Institutional Overview

Since 1962, Franklin Pierce University has empowered thousands of undergraduate and graduate students to achieve academic excellence and lead meaningful, successful lives. Drawing from our strong foundation in liberal education, we offer programs and educational experiences that develop essential intellectual and professional skills; promote close connections between students, faculty members, and staff; and position our students to realize their potential through highly personalized, financially accessible academic offerings.

Franklin Pierce encompasses a far-reaching geographic and virtual network, educating a diverse population of residential undergraduates, online learners, and full-time graduate students through our campus in Rindge, NH, online and at our centers in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Lebanon, (NH) and Goodyear, AZ.

As a diversified institution, Franklin Pierce has avoided the perils of the Northeast region experiencing stable enrollments and revenue surpluses over the last five years. These successes are contributed to embracing our own evolution through innovation.

Most recently, the Board of Trustees demonstrated the institution's innovative nature by unanimously approving the reorganization of the Division of Academic Affairs. In doing so, the opportunity for three new deans was created. This is an exciting time at Franklin Pierce, as the university embarks on expanding its operations at our Goodyear, AZ campus, developing new programming in Healthcare fields, and our continued quest to explore new educational models and programs that build on our legacy of excellence that help students expand their knowledge, direct their passions, and graduate as qualified, engaged leaders.
