Summary
The Neuropsychology Program in the Psychology Division, Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital are significantly expanding clinical services. We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of several new faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with a clinician-educator focus.
We are seeking pediatric neuropsychologists with interest and expertise in the following specialty areas:
Hematology/Oncology
Epilepsy and Epilepsy Surgery
Rehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injury
Early Childhood Assessment
Multicultural Neuropsychology and Bilingual Neuropsychological Assessment
While most evaluations are conducted on an outpatient basis, there is a growing need for inpatient consultation services and participation in multidisciplinary teams. Approximately 75% psychometrician support is provided for outpatient evaluations.
These neuropsychology positions involve teaching and supervision of neuropsychology post-doctoral fellows within our APPCN-member fellowship program and of interns in our APA- approved internship program. In addition, all BCM faculty members are expected to contribute to the College’s academic mission. Both independent and collaborative research/scholarship opportunities are available through partnership with other Division members, as well as our subspecialty partners.

“The Division of Psychology within the Department of Pediatrics includes more than 40 pediatric, clinical, and neuropsychologists practicing across subspecialty areas at Texas Children’s Hospital, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient environments. BCM, our academic home, is also home to outstanding psychology training programs at the graduate, internship, and postdoctoral levels.

How to Apply
Candidates for the position will have:
• A doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from an APA or CPA approved program
• Completed an APA-accredited psychology internship
• Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology that complies with the training guidelines of APA Division 40
• Licensure or license-eligibility in Texas
• ABCN board certification or ABCN board eligibility
