The Department of Mathematics at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for two permanent lecturer positions. The positions will begin in August 2019. A masters' degree in mathematics or mathematics education is required. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching with at least one year of teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with excellent teaching and service record. Regular teaching load is 15 credit hours in the fall semester and 12 credit hours in the spring semester. Summer teaching may be available. The Department offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics, applied mathematics, and mathematics education and has 22 full‐time faculty members. UCA has an enrollment of approximately 11,500. It is located in Conway, a thriving city of approximately 52,000 situated in central Arkansas, 30 miles northwest of Little Rock.
