Position Summary

Assists in the organization, planning, teaching, and coaching of all practices and games.

Essential Functions

  • Assists in the organization, planning, teaching, and coaching of all practices and games.
  • Assists with all official and unofficial visits.
  • Assists with creating recruiting materials for the women’s basketball program.
  • Helps track and monitor current and prospective student-athletes through Arms.
  • Reviews all digital video information on current players and prospective student-athletes.
  • Advises assigned group of players. Conducts weekly meetings and develops strong relationships with each player and keeps an outline guiding them each year in specific areas.
  • Independently supervises all functions of the video component by breaking down video of all practices and competitions for coaching staff to analyze in game preparation.
  • Creates video playbooks and diagrams with clips from practices.
  • Initiates individual video reviews with supporting analytical data points to build areas of strength and identifies areas of improvement with players.
  • Utilizes basketball analytics techniques and software for player and team efficiency data – in practices and games.
  • Manages and prepares scout team.
  • Complies with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference and University rules and regulations.
  • Attends fundraising events upon request to support the program.
  • Serves as the liaison to sports performance and sports medicine.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience on the staff of a collegiate women’s basketball program, Division I program preferred.
  • Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel with team.
  • Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Division I program experience on the staff of a collegiate women’s basketball program.

Minimum Starting Salary: $58,500

Maximum Starting Salary: $80,000

Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
