Part-Time Faculty - English
Job Description
Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a public, comprehensive community college. As part of the 23 college Virginia Community College System, PVCC serves the city of Charlottesville and the six adjacent counties. PVCC is nationally recognized for its outstanding transfer curriculum; its relationship with its neighbor, the University of Virginia; and its Workforce Development Programs serving local employers.

We are seeking to identify qualified and interested adjunct faculty members in the following teaching disciplines and/or subject areas: ENGLISH
If you are interested in a unique challenge, PVCC will expand credit course offerings in English Composition and Literature for incarcerated students at Fluvanna Correctional Center, Buckingham Correctional Center, and Dillwyn Correctional Center.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in English
