About This Position

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate for neuroimmunology research. The Postdoctoral Associate performs scientific research under the supervision of Dr. Eleonore Beurel. Moreover, the Postdoctoral Associate promotes institutional recognition through literal contributions to the scientific community.

  • Conducts research in neuroimmunology with a strong background in immunology and/or neuroscience.

  • Competence in flow cytometry, T cell isolation, behavioral assessments, molecular biology, single cell RNA sequencing,

  • Develops advanced bioinformatics models to analyze single cell RNA sequencing, competence in R coding

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or other doctoral degree in a biological science or health discipline

  • Skill in biochemical and mouse behavioral assays.

  • Experience with research using mice is absolutely required

  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve experimental problems.
