Position Summary
Assists the Women’s Basketball program through coaching and recruiting with the goal of enhancing the experience for the student-athletes.
Essential Functions
- Assists the Women’s Basketball program through coaching and recruiting with the goal of enhancing the experience for the student-athletes.
- Assists in the organization, planning, teaching, and coaching of all practices and games.
- Assists the Head Coach in the individual skill development of student-athletes.
- Evaluates, identifies, and recruits quality student-athletes within the University, Atlantic 10 and NCAA policies.
- Responsible for international recruiting, including but not limited to identifying potential student-athletes, developing relationships with international coaches, and overseeing all international recruiting services.
- Mentors, develops and retains international student-athletes, with a focus of successful transition to the United States.
- Complies with all NCAA, Atlantic 10 and University rules and regulations.
- Attends fundraising events upon request to support the program.
- Responsible for administrative functions as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a coach, preferably on the staff of an NCAA Division I collegiate women’s basketball program.
- Understanding and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
Minimum Starting Salary: $95,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $120,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
