Crossroads4Hope (CR4H) has been improving the lives of people with cancer and their loved ones for over 21 years. More recently, the organization has grown regionally and nationally in response to the increasing unmet needs of individuals affected by the disease. As THE safe space for people facing cancer to turn first to restore their whole being and family, we are on a mission to reduce the burden of cancer on all those affected, especially those living in vulnerable communities. Guided by social work principles, most notably social justice, we are experts in patient activation and delivering social and emotional interventions. We move individuals through the health crisis caused by cancer to become activated with the behaviors that enable them to take control of their health and care through access to resources and programs of support, education, well-being, and hope.

Crossroads4Hope seeks a philanthropy professional to round out our development team. The Fund Development Associate supports a range of development activities, including, but not limited to, maintaining accurate donor data, reporting, communications, development events and special projects. This is a great entry-level position and possible a good fit for someone currently in graduate school. CR4H is a financially healthy and thriving organization, this position will help our development team take our fundraising efforts to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming gifts and donations in a timely basis, maintains accurate data entry for donor records, grants, pledges, and campaigns. Coordinate bookkeeper to ensure all donations are accurately recorded and acknowledged.
  • Generate donor reports, and maintain donor lists for appeals, events, and other donor communications.
  • Work with marketing communications on donor campaigns and social media.
  • Assist with individual donor stewardship.
  • Provide support for grant research, submissions, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support the planning and execution of special events and meetings.
  • Ensure proper procedures and best practices are followed for quality assurance and confidentiality.
  • May provide backup data entry for the program team.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience using Salesforce, or similar constituent relationship management system, preferably within a non-profit organization. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Constant Contact and Classy is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with good proofreading capability.
  • Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, and able to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a high-performing team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Interest in learning.

Benefits eligibility is based on scheduled hours worked.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
