Resident/Fellowship Coordinator I

Job Description:

Corresponds with American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training, Association of American Medical Colleges (ERAS, GME Track), American Board of Medical Specialties, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Inc, American Medical Association,  Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, Precert, GME, Florida Board of Medicine, and others; Maintains New Innovations Residency Management Suite (which has significantly increased in complexity and requirement over the last couple of years); coordinates fellow credentialing; coordinates the child fellow call schedule, coordinates resident rotations for other pediatric subspecialists rotating with child psychiatry; coordinates all graduation duties, coordinates all recruitment; provides orientation; coordinates administrative and educational training of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship duties and requirements.
DCAP Administrative Coordination - Answers phone calls, receives visitors, prepares and reproduces documents (such as residency training materials), sorts, screens, distributes and forwards mail and other forms of communication (such as emails and pages), systematically files administrative records (both paper and electronic), maintains office supply inventories and equipment, processes and submits leave, travel requisitions, and other administrative forms in a timely fashion, maintaining the organization and appearance of DCAP administrative offices and common areas, and provides any other administrative support to DCAP personnel that is generally associated with regular secretarial duties.  Coordinate with the Training Director to facilitate administrative training of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship and recruitment of new fellows.
Backup for MedConsult Service (DCF Contract).  Answers phones, schedules appointments, processes pre-consents (faxed paperwork), data entry, runs reports, submits monthly paperwork, and manages contract (i.e., creates line item budget, schedules and participates in monthly conference calls, etc.)
Backup for Psychology Faculty and Postdoctoral Psychology Administrative Support: provides administrative support, and coordination of leave/travel. Administrative support duties include scanning, copying, faxing, correlating credentialing, and coordinating meetings/lunches/educational materials.
Special project assignments.  Provides support services, such as making arrangements for events, scheduling activities and facilities (training seminars and resident candidate visits), transcribing medical reports.  Assists with various Child Psychiatry Division contract work and credentialing fellows and faculty for these contracts.

Expected Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
