As a Direct Support Professional, you will work with four clients each day to challenge their growth and opportunity to participate in skill building activities. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to make an impact by helping others. You can make a difference in someone’s life by encouraging clients through volunteer opportunities, increasing social and communication skills, and contributing to the community.

Direct Support Professional’s act as a natural support for individuals with disabilities to gain the same experience, and skills as those without disabilities.

Flexible yet consistent schedule opportunities that work great for parents and students. We ask that you have the availability to work a minimum of three days per week. Operating Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:45am-2:15pm

Direct Support Professional’s earn $15.50 per hour while having fun with their group!

Performance based pay increases available at 90 days.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance with an acceptable driving record per FSL standards.
• Provide transportation using personal vehicle to participate in community-based learning. (Fuel Mileage Reimbursed)
• Undergo required background checks.
• CPR/First Aid must be obtained within the first 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week. (M-F 8:45am-2:15pm)
• Possess personal qualities of integrity, patience, and dependability.
• Demonstrate good judgment & professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to participate in daily physical activity to include walking and standing for long periods of time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
