Assistant/ Associate Professor- Accounting/ Finance
Job Description
Viterbo University is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting and/or Finance beginning August 16th, 2023. This 9-month, tenure-track position involves teaching a range of courses in accounting and finance in ACBSP accredited undergraduate business programs.
We are seeking candidates with a desire to be a leader in the Dahl School of Business and those with an interest in advising and mentoring students. We are looking for an individual that embodies Viterbo's institutional values of contemplation, hospitality, stewardship, integrity, and service. We value solid academic preparation, professional experience, and a passion for helping students become successful, ethical business leaders.
Minimum Qualifications: A doctoral degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a business-related discipline is preferred. A master's degree in business or a related field is required. University-level teaching in a variety of formats and professional experience is preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Viterbo University is unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of the employment Visa.
Rank and Salary: Appointment is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with a nine-month appointment beginning August 16th, 2023. Salary is competitive with other private institutions of similar size, mission, and educational philosophy.
