Responsibilities:

The Associate Director, Access, Equity & Engagement is responsible for program development, assessment and execution of initiatives that primarily support first-generation college students and students from historically underrepresented groups. An integral member of D’Amore-McKim’s Office of Student Engagement, Affinity & Inclusion (OSEAI), this person will work closely and collaboratively with the OSEAI team to build and grow an innovative portfolio of programs that aim to achieve the goals outlined in the D’Amore-McKim Strategic Plan, with an emphasis on activities that seek to cultivate an inclusive culture of belonging that enhances the undergraduate student experience.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred plus a minimum of 5 years of experience that includes:
  • Experience developing and managing programs/initiatives that support personal or professional development of undergraduate students or early career individuals
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a variety of audiences and stakeholders; experience working with business industry is a plus
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem solving and advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment and commitment to cultivating inclusive culture of belonging
  • Experience leveraging technology to track and analyze data. Knoweldge and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Familiarity with Canvas or similar LMS systems a plus.
