Exercises leadership responsibility in advising the College regarding administrative, curriculum, and budgetary matters in their respective departments.

Responsibilities: 
20% Provide strong planning and management leadership, vision and support to college programs and personnel emphasizing collegiality, integration and collaboration among college personnel, programs and resources. 

15% Encourage a college and university-wide culture of student success and academic excellence, by emphasizing high academic standards, excellent teaching, faculty and student scholarship, exemplary student support services, continuous quality improvement and data driven decision making. 

10% Actively pursue the development of a college advancement program focused on the cultivation, acquisition of resources for continuous development, improvement of the college. 

10% Implement plan to achieve AACSB accreditation. Elevate the academic profile of the college, as well as the integrating applied learning experience into the college academic program. 

10% Promote compliance with all TAMUS Policies and Regulations and all Tarleton Rules and Procedures. 

10% Provide leadership in the management of college budgets, personnel and resources. 

10% Represents the college effectively both internally and externally. 

5% Advocate for student, faculty, staff and intellectual diversity in higher education. 

5% Initiate industry linkages that will assist in curriculum development and career opportunities for graduates. 

5% Periodic teaching in relevant discipline as schedule allows. 

Required Education/Experience: Appropriate terminal degree, earned academic rank, and record of scholarship or creative activity; 8 years of successful teaching/administrative experience in higher education; Record of successful administrative/leadership roles and responsibilities; Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Reputation as an accessible and decisive leader effective in managing change, conflict and problem-solving; Successful experience in collaborative efforts to enhance and extend university programs. 

Proposed Minimum Salary: Commensurate with experience
