What we want
The Postdoctoral Research Associate is responsible for leading and assisting with research and service opportunities in the Texas A&M Ergo Center. Duties are specifically related to research activities, require an advanced level of knowledge in a field of science or learning, are predominantly intellectual and varied in character, and require consistent use of discretion and judgment. In addition, the research post-doc will lead is collaborative in nature and will work with colleagues in CON, COM, and psychology, concreting SPH relationships within TAMU and TAMU Health as well as venture funding partnerships.
What you need to know
May work remotely; however, must be on campus (School of Public Health) a minimum of three days each week to accomplish essential job responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:
Appropriate PhD
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Education and Experience
DrPH specializing in environmental and occupational health
Experience in research design and data collection
Experience in professional training development and delivery
Academic publishing experience in research and practice
Grant writing experience
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Associate Ergonomic Professional (AEP), Certified Health Educational Specialist (CHES)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent skills with using statistical analysis software
Good working ethics and willingness to work in a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
Research-related duties-Designing occupational safety and ergonomic research studies; conducting the full research including, data management, analysis, and proposals based on the analysis
Administrative Duties -Administrative duties such as project management, IRB applications, assisting with classes as needed, and consulting on projects, and writing reports, papers. Performs other duties as assigned
