About Jamestown Community College:

Jamestown Community College, a SUNY institution, is a comprehensive community college with degree granting campuses in Jamestown, Olean, and Dunkirk, New York. Position Description:

JCC anticipates potential part-time openings for remote Chemistry or Biology instructors for upcoming semesters (fall, spring, summer). Class times and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester. Applicants are not required to live near the Jamestown or Cattaraugus campuses as this posting is for remote instructors.

Current needs are for an instructor that is able to teach one or more of the following: Anatomy and Physiology, Introductory Biology, and/or Introductory Chemistry courses.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry or Biology or closely related field.

Preferred: Master’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry or Biology or closely related field. Preference will be given to individuals that have experience in remote instruction (asynchronous or synchronous online).

Additional Information:

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Final candidates are subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
