Job Description
The University of Minnesota invites applications for open post-doctoral researcher positions within the Johnson laboratory, which specializes in translational neuroscience research with a focus on high-density electrophysiological recordings and deep brain stimulation therapies for treating movement disorders and neuropsychiatric brain conditions. These positions will provide post-doctoral researchers with opportunities to translate their science from large animal preclinical studies to human research studies and to engage with a highly interdisciplinary group of research labs within our NIH funded Udall Center of Excellence for Parkinson's Disease Research at the University of Minnesota.
Qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants who have previous research experiences with electrophysiology in preclinical animal models and have a strong interest in data science.
