Job Description
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of South Florida invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Mathematics beginning August 7, 2023. This position carries a teaching load of three courses per year.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Mathematics and appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. in Mathematics within the last three years and whose research area is in data driven methods in dynamical systems, control theory, or has significant overlap with research of faculty members active in these areas.
