Outcomes of interest include sleep patterns and problems, emotional/behavioral regulation, diurnal cortisol patterns, attachment, and caregiver stress. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in conducting implementation research and/or working with underserved communities.

The fellow will receive close, mentored training from a licensed clinical psychologist and have opportunities to lead other projects, attend advancing trainings, publish manuscripts and contribute to grant writing. Additional opportunities for collaboration and training are offered within the Department of Psychology and UH more broadly. Applicants should have a: 1) doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, School Psychology, Social Work, or related field; 2) experience in research project coordination; 3) experience working with children and families; and 4) outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills. Prior experience in the areas of behavioral interventions, sleep health, and/or trauma-informed care are ideal but not required. The salary and benefits package is highly competitive.

The University of Houston (UH) is the leading public research university in Houston and the second most racially/ethnically diverse university in the U.S. It is designated as a Tier One research university by the Carnegie Foundation.
