DEIB Program Manager

Compass Health is currently looking for a Payee Program Clerk for our Payeeship Program in Everett!

What you will be performing

Under the supervision of the Payee Program Supervisor, the Payee Program Clerk assists with the functions needed to provide representative payee services for individuals who the Social Security Administration or Courts have determined to be incapable of managing their finances.

  • Performs basic functions including answering phones, data entry, bill paying, funds distributions, and filing.
  • Assists with the bank deposits for Compass Health and related entities, which entails entering daily cash deposits online or in-person at the appropriate banks.
  • Interacts with the Social Security Administration, other outside agencies, and case managers regarding client benefits as needed.
  • Provides excellent customer service to a diverse population.
  • Preforms functions with a high level of accuracy.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled supervision and team meetings.
  • Remains compliant with required trainings and certifications.
  • Behaves in an ethical and professional manner consistent with agency policy, state law, and licensing entities if applicable.

What you will bring with you

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, AA or BA degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a social service environment.
  • Experience with custodial checking or trustee accounting software preferred.
  • Must be bondable.

  • Knowledge of money management and strong math skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problems.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Ability to track multiple projects/deadlines and maintain consistent tracking methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • General computer proficiency.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check, which may or may not include an additional search by DSHS.
