Mark Magleby named art musuem director at Brigham Young University

Mark A. Magleby, a BYU art history faculty member since 1997, has been appointed as the new director of the Brigham Young University Museum of Art.
Stephen M. Jones, dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communications, announced the appointment Wednesday. Magleby will officially begin in his new role on Jan. 1.
Before his employment at BYU, Magleby was an art history faculty member at both The Ohio State University and Denison University in Ohio. Magleby received his M.A. and Ph.D. in History of Art from Ohio State, having previously completed his B.A. from Brigham Young University.
