Two committees and an executive search firm have formally begun the search for Ripon College’s next president, with the goal of hiring a new chief executive by late winter/early spring.
The college hopes to welcome its new president to campus by July 1, 2012, the start of the college’s fiscal year.
Three groups will be involved with the search and selection process: A trustee selection committee, an integrated search committee and an executive search firm.
Jane Frederick ’74 chairs the trustee selection committee that will make the final recommendation to the board.
Frederick has been a member of the Ripon College board of trustees since 1990, and successfully chaired the search that brought David and Lynne Joyce to Ripon.
Other members of the selection committee include trustees Tom Abendroth ’81, Ron Peterson ’70, Dena Willmore ’67, Rich Srednicki ’73 and Board Chairman Bob Kirkland ’81.
