Brandeis University is poised to begin its search for the next provost and senior vice president for academic affairs.
University President Fred Lawrence announced Wednesday that a 12-member search committee has formed to help identify candidates for the position. It is comprised of six faculty members, three staff members, a trustee, a graduate student and an undergraduate student.
The executive search firm of Storbeck/Pimentel, which specializes in searches for universities, and previously assisted in the university’s presidential search, will guide the process.
