Mickey Hepner to lead business school at U. of Central Oklahoma

The University of Central Oklahoma today named Mickey Hepner, Ph.D., the new Dean of its College of Business Administration (CBA).
Hepner has held positions varying at Central, including professor of Economics, and director of the UCO Policy Institute, and has received several awards for his teaching and scholarly activities and was named the 2007 "Oklahoma Professor of the Year" by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
Outside of Central, Hepner has authored several reports for national organizations such as the Urban Institute, the Heritage Foundation and the Cato Institute. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Academy, a nonpartisan Oklahoma policy organization, writes a weekly column on public policy issues and maintains a policy blog.
He holds bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Oklahoma.
