Charlie Amato, Donna Williams to lead Texas State U. System regents

Texas State University System regents have elected Charlie Amato of San Antonio chairman and Donna Williams of Arlington vice chairman.
The unanimous votes were taken at a Board of Regents meeting at Lamar University in Beaumont on Friday, according to a news release from the university system.
Amato is chairman and co-founder of Southwest Business Corp. of San Antonio, which advises financial institutions on managing risk and increasing profits. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Sam Houston State University, part of the Texas State System.
Williams is vice president and program manager for Parsons Infrastructure and Technology Inc., a unit of the Parsons Corp., a global engineering and construction company.
