A search committee has been named to identify finalists for the position of dean of the University of Colorado Law School, the school announced Friday.
David Getches, who is in his eighth year as dean, announced in August he will step down as dean at the end of the school year to resume teaching and research as a CU law professor.
Jim Williams, dean of the CU-Boulder Libraries, is chair of the committee. The committee’s goal is to recommend a list of finalists to the provost by March 2011, Williams said. The new law dean is to take over July 1.
