Berkeley College hires Andy DeStephano as assistant AD

Berkeley College is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy DeStephano as Assistant Athletic Director, New York. In this role, he will oversee day-to-day operations of growing athletic programs at the New York campuses, as well as guide the development of new programs.
“Mr. DeStephano has been a dedicated Instructor at Berkeley College for the past several years,” said Berkeley College Athletic Director Brian Maher. “His commitment to Berkeley College students, partnered with his substantial coaching credentials, will make him a strong asset to our athletic programs in New York.”
Mr. DeStephano has been an Adjunct Instructor, Management, School of Business, at Berkeley College since 2008. He previously served as Men’s Basketball Coach at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ, where he was the youngest Head Coach in the program’s 19-year history.
Mr. DeStephano also has served as Assistant Coach at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH; Associate Head Coach at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY; and Assistant Coach at Suffolk County Community College, Western Campus, in Brentwood, NY.
He has extensive experience with athletic camps and has served as an owner, director, guest lecturer, coach and counselor, among other positions. Mr. DeStephano holds an MBA from Centenary College and a BS in Sports Management from St. John’s University, NY.
