Position Summary | We are seeking multiple highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellows interested in developing and applying novel statistical methodologies for quantitative neuroimaging and multiview data integration using statistical, machine learning (ML), and AI models, as related to Alzheimer’s Disease and the impact of substance abuse on neurodevelopment, as well as the formal study of evaluating ML and AI as diagnostic biomarkers. The ideal individual will have a strong history in coding in R, Matlab, and/or Python, statistical or machine learning analysis and methods development. Experience with neuroimaging software, such as FSL, AFNI, FreeSurfer, etc., is a plus. The fellows will work with an interdisciplinary team spanning multiple departments, centers, and institutes with a common goal of creating and evaluating novel statistical and machine learning algorithms in healthcare and neuroscience. Working remotely is optional. Basic Qualifications | The minimum qualifications for a successful candidate include: · Doctoral or terminal degree required. Completed PhD in biostatistics, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline · Prior neuroimaging experience · Strong skills in statistical and/or machine learning methodology development and implementation · Strong programming skills in R, Matlab, and/or Python, experience with imaging software, such as FSL, AFNI, FreeSurfer, etc., is a plus |
