Full Job Description

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed PhD training by start date and should have a record of success in scientific research (as evidenced in first-author publications in scientific journals). Applicants are expected to have excellent molecular biology skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

Duties of the position include:
Conduct molecular and structural virology research in the field of COVID-19 diagnostics and vaccine development (40% Participate in design of projects, planning and executing experiments (20%) Collect and organize data for research activities (20%)

Attend, participate, or present at laboratory meetings, seminars, graduate and undergraduate lectures, and conferences as needed (10%)

Maintain frequent communication with collaborators, including, if required, traveling to destinations to meet with collaborators and collect data (10%).
