Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
Experience
- Four years of progressive fiscal responsibilities with demonstrated proficiency of advanced financial skills.
- Understanding of financial systems and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Professional knowledge of budgeting, finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency using business intelligence, data query and reporting tools, and willingness to update and enhance skills to be at the forefront of technology in these areas.
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, with all levels of management and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as a team, with flexibility for some level of ambiguity and time constraints.
- Ability to analyze situations, to define issues, and draw conclusions and communicate outputs.
- Self-motivated, takes initiative.
Preferences:
- Master’s degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Experience working in higher education.
