Job Summary
A Postdoctoral Fellow position on Mars sedimentology and surface processes is available in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Tech. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be a member of the PLANETAS research group (https://planetas.eas.gatech.edu/) and will work with Dr. Frances Rivera-Hernández on independent research related to the Curiosity rover, Mars orbital studies, and/or Earth analog studies to Mars with a focus on sedimentology and geomorphology. The Postdoctoral Fellow will also contribute to the PLANETAS group by participating in meetings, helping co-advise students, contributing and/or leading manuscripts, and collaborating on proposals. Funding is committed for 12 months with the possibility of a 12-month extension.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in geosciences, planetary science, geography, physical sciences, or a related discipline.
