Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking a mission-minded Associate to join us as a full time (37.5 per week) Director of Marketing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • In collaboration with the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications, create a vision for a comprehensive strategic marketing plan that fulfills organizational and departmental marketing goals for our diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications to identify key audiences, market segments, and expand PPGOHs brand reach through proven, research based, measurable marketing principles and innovative techniques.
  • Collaborate across departments and with all organization-wide content creators to build a deep understanding of each unique audience to build successful and interconnected marketing strategies to define and achieve desired growth.
  • Build a strong a creative enterprise that adheres to PPFA brand standards while uplifting PPGOHs unique identity through management of marketing team members, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Oversee the development and execution of key marketing initiatives including multi-channel campaigns, influencer relationship cultivation, event design, creation and management of external and internal collateral.
  • Embody a culture of storytelling and collaborate with staff and vendors as needed to develop PR strategies to promote our stories as consumable multi-platform content for the media, donors, patients, community leaders, partners, and staff.
  • Collaborate closely with the Communications team to build strategic and results-driven promotions and social media campaigns.
  • Establish and manage a collateral library/database of all external and internal marketing materials with respective departments to ensure consistency and timely updates/revisions.
  • Liaise with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) on key messaging, communications strategies, and the latest PPFA talking points, and incorporate as appropriate in building affiliate communication campaigns.
  • Lead mission-related promotions and counsel on crisis communications as needed.
  • Stay on top of marketing and communications trends to inspire the team to build creative, strategic, effective, and timely marketing activities and tactics that deepen market penetration and support the long-term building of relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelors degree preferably in marketing, business administration or other related field
  • 5 years of experience in marketing or other related work including agency
  • 3 years of management/supervisory experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-building, and external relationship building skills
  • Must be able to work independently with the ability to prioritize and lead with minimal supervision.
  • Strong marketer with significant creative management aptitude, including working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, campaign conceptualization, and marketing strategy development.
  • Strong business acumen with proven strategic planning and a track record of success
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong collaborator, highly strategic and creative
  • Strong organizational and analytic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-building, mentoring, and external relationship building skills
  • Ambitious goal setter with the ability to give evidence-based feedback to help others excel
  • Informed decision maker who can be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Strong analysis skills, with the ability to consider options, build and manage plans appropriately; while holding self and team accountable for achieving goals
