Instructor of Practice - Accounting 1030 (Part-Time) Fall 2022
Job Description
Prepare and teach one section ACCO 1030 Principals of Financial Accounting. The course includes accounting concepts and principles applied in the preparation of financial statements, asset valuation, and the accounting for debt and equity issues of business corporations. Must be able to teach MWF 8:00am – 8:50am
Duties and Responsibilities
The instructor is responsible for the effective delivery of the course as described in the course syllabus. The instructor must prepare and distribute the course syllabus, grade exams and other assignments in a timely manner and submit grades at the end of the semester due dates. The Instructor must also have office hours at least once a week for a minimum of two hours.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Teaching experience and proficiency with basic analytic tools is preferred but not required.
