Assistant Professor in Management (Tenure-Track Position)

Job Description

The Berry College Campbell School of Business (CSOB), an AACSB accredited school, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management in August 2023.

We seek a faculty member interested in joining a business school that combines a strong commitment to mentoring students with academic rigor and professional experience. In addition, we seek a person with strong relational skills and the ability to connect with local and regional opportunities to help identify and develop student internships and job opportunities. Our international business and entrepreneurship programs are under review for enhancement through dynamic curricular changes, study abroad opportunities, and other hands-on experiences.

The candidate should demonstrate the commitment and potential for teaching excellence and research. The candidate will teach undergraduate courses in management such as principles of management, business ethics, organizational behavior, international business, or entrepreneurship. In addition, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach classes in their field of expertise in the MBA program, which offers tracks in Professional Management and Healthcare Management.


Requirements:

Candidates should have an earned doctorate or be ABD in Management (or a closely related business discipline) with degree completion expected before August 2023 and show evidence of a promising research agenda. Rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
