Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Associate Director, Business Administration is a newly created role, which will oversee and manage global projects and initiatives that support the business- to- business strategy for Chicago Booth Executive Education. The Associate Director will collaborate across business administration, business development and program management teams to build, manage, and track global Custom and Group Enrollment opportunities. The role will be responsible for project management of new Custom programs, working alongside business development and interfacing with clients. The Associate Director will ensure a seamless transition of Custom programs from the business development function to program management and delivery.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in developing and implementing the business development pipeline strategy for Executive Education, in alignment with business administration and program management.
  • Prioritize Custom and Group Enrollment initiatives for Executive Education team and ensure teammates are following through on actions and deliverables.
  • Manage Custom pipeline with weekly report-outs on progress.
  • Project manage and interface with clients during the business development process, assisting Business Development colleagues.
  • Work on strategic special projects to support revenue growth.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, budget forecasts and reports.
  • Bring multiple stakeholders together and help drive decisions (Governance process).
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (accounting, finance, contracts, legal, risk, operations) to ensure quality control for all Custom programs.
  • Build and maintain a library of proposal templates and capability statements.
  • Ensure client and faculty satisfaction on business development process.
  • Travel on a as need basis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of related work experience required in project management or, business development support required. Executive Education experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented, highly analytical, skilled at making data-driven decisions and experienced in developing and delivering timely reports to track progress required.
  • Experience working and driving out projects in a matrix ’ed organization or culture preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills – verbal and written required (including presentation skills; MS Office).
  • Highly skilled project manager comfortable with multi-tasking and multiple deadlines required.
  • Skilled in data organization, analysis, visualization and presentation required (utilizing data from CRM systems, such as Salesforce).
  • Strong experience in relationship management and influence required (across and above).
  • Experience working and driving out projects in a matrix ’ed organization or culture preferred.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and ability to deal with stressful/demanding work situations without disruption of efficiency required.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to and manage changes in daily workflow required.
  • Professional demeanor required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel (international and domestic) according to demands of business required.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
