If so, we're looking for someone like you to apply and join our Classified Video Teleconferencing (CVTC) team at APL!
We are seeking a Classified Video Teleconferencing (CVTC) Coordinator to manage and administer classified collaboration systems and facilities. You will assist APL staff and external Government sponsors daily to facilitate critical virtual and in-person classified meetings. Lastly, you'll collaborate with staff across APL and our CVTC partners within the Department of Defense (DoD).
As a CVTC coordinator, you will...
- Maintain the day-to-day operations of CVTC services using Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) in support of APL Programs and Sponsors in multiple classified facilities.
- Coordinate and schedule CVTC meetings made by APL users and sponsors. Setup bridges to connect external sites as necessary.
- Serve as the primary APL coordinator to report service outages to the service providers and APL users.
- Manage the classified facilities used for CVTC services.
- Assist with the processing of DoD message traffic, such as Command and Control Office Information Exchange (C2OIX).
This position is 100% onsite on JHU/APL 's main campus. Remote work is not available.
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Have a minimum of 2 year of experience working with Classified Video Teleconferencing systems or related technology (e.g., Cisco equipment).
- Have experience in Information Technology or Computer Security fields with an emphasis on networking principles and configuration, and/or IT communications.
- Have outstanding Customer Service and collaboration skills, including written and verbal communications.
- Have a current DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
- Have familiarity with DISA Global Video Services (GVS) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Are self-motivated, able to work in a team environment, collaborate with all levels of staff, and work primarily from a classified facility.
- Have strong computer skills, with an emphasis on improving automation using tools such as ServiceNow.
- Must be flexible to occasional 'after hours' calls to support programs and operations requiring the use of Classified video teleconferencing.
- Hold an active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

- Have familiarity with DoD cybersecurity procedures and policies, such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Have familiarity administering CVTC equipment using Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS).
- Have clearly defined experience working in classified environments such as SIPRNET.
- Have experience in delivering customer service in a VTC environment, prior experience administering VTCs, and/or completed technical courses on VTCs.
