Our Communications (COMM) Department is seeking an enthusiastic intern who will support the technology operations team. 

 

 

 As an intern supporting our Technology Operations team you will…

• Work with the Gen AI PM and Technology Manager in experimenting with and implementing AI technologies and tools into COMM workflows.
• Work with the Technology Manager and the Technical Operations Specialist in managing and operating the COMM specific technologies, such as the fiber switch and moxie networks.
• Assist the Technology Manager with implementations outlined on COMM’s technology roadmap.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

• You are currently enrolled as an Information Technology (or similar degree path) major.
• You have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• You have strong verbal communication skills with an ability to present ideas coherently and persuasively.
• You possess a strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
• To access APL’s facilities and networks, US Citizenship or permanent resident status is required, subject to applicable laws.
