Serve as the first level of response to internal and remote clients with software and hardware issues or requests. Provide advanced support for service equipment and ensure seamless interconnectivity between desktop computers and various systems.
Service Desk
- Monitor phone, chat, and service portal to manage and document customer support interactions
- Interface with outside service providers for desktop support responsibilities
- Interact with various computer platforms in a multi-layered client-server environment
- Maintain service level agreements on requests and incidents
- Update and create documentation for processes and procedures
- Clearly communicate technical solutions to customers
Desktop Engineering
- Provide advanced support for service equipment such as projectors, laptops, conference room equipment, and printers/copiers
- Participate in asset inventory and conduct regular audits
General
- Attend relevant training for professional development
- Atten offsite meetings and conferences to provide technical support
Other Duties as Assigned
Working Conditions:
95% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 5% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors' and/or internal customers' sites in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Service Desk or Client Support role
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Microsoft Office
- Strong troubleshooting skills for computers, laptops, mobile devices (iOS and Android), and hardware components
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and beyond normal working hours as needed
- A+ and Network + Certifications are preferred
- Familiarity with FreshService service portal or similar ticketing system
Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or Technical school preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds across the office for various needs.
Pay Grade: $24.00 - $41.00 Hourly
