Atlas Tech is seeking a (Automated Digital Network System) ADNS Systems Engineer in the San Diego, CA area with proven experience in tactical/afloat routing and networking.
If you are comfortable in intense, fast-paced environments, can think on your feet, excel in team-based collaborative efforts, and can tolerate visiting some of the most exotic locations in the world, then this may be the right job for you.
Pay Range: $97,000 to $167,000, depending on experience
Travel up to 10%
You Will:
- Provide expert level knowledge in systems engineering and information technology.
- Provide technical leadership within a team of both government and industry in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and logical ADNS routing and networking solutions.
- Guide team members to define, analyze, and provide solutions for the ADNS.
- Guide team members on ADNS engineering practices in accordance with program processes, policies, and approaches.
- Develop solutions across software and hardware to solve problems and implement enhancements.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related taskings as needed.
You Have:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- A Department of Defense (DoD) "Top Secret" level Security Clearance or be able to obtain an interim clearance prior to hire date.
- Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science required. Other Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/training may be substituted for four (4) additional years experience supporting the engineering of Information Technology systems for a DoD or Government Agency (for a total of ten (10) years).
- IAT Level II Baseline Certification such as a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
- Network operating environment certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years' experience engineering network and/or firewall solutions for CANES and/or ADNS.
- Minimum of six (6) years' experience engineering solutions for one or more of the following technologies: Cisco Switches, -Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco ISE.
- Experience in engineering and administering WAN solutions.
- Experience in Quality of Service (QoS) technology engineering.
- The ability to work in a dynamic, high paced, team environment.
We'd Be Impressed If You Had:
- Experience supporting the engineering of DOD Afloat Network Systems such as CANES, ADNS, ISNS, CENTRIXS, SCI Networks, SUBLAN, and/or COMPOSE.
- Experience in SATCOM systems.
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
