Founded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed defense technology company whose mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. In pursuit of this mission, Shield AI is building the world's best AI pilot. As a software engineer on the Enterprise Operations - Devops team, you will contribute to solutions developed by the team. The Devops team are ultimately responsible for keeping engineering running, improving individual productivity and solving business process problems through software automation.

The team charter has 3 pillars:

1. Software Platforms - implementation, operation and customization of engineering software platforms like Azure, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, SonarQube etc.

2. Software Solutions - observability solutions, virtualization and other shared services to improve development productivity and cycle times. Acceleration of productivity through automation and integration with business platforms like Costpoint, UKG, Lever, Lattice, Salesforce and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).

3. Practices - best practice standards, guidance, training and implementations for our platforms and practices. Examples include Agile/Scrum training, guidance and implementation, Knowledge Management on Microsoft 365 and continuous evangelism and training on new technologies and software releases.

Total package details:

Regular employee positions: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)
