Responsibilities

Remote Position But Must Be Willing to Work Central Time Zone

  • As a member of scrum team, work on core features and technical architecture for assigned projects.
  • Implement and follow industry standards for code quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Optimize and improve performance, scalability and security of existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UX designers during requirements gathering and scoping phases.
  • Help with effort estimation and collaboration.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies.


Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • A strong interest in keeping up with the latest technological developments.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and patterns.
  • Knowledge with ReactJS.
  • Strong interest in UI designs is a big plus.
  • Some experience with one or more of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, XML, JSON.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, mocking, code coverage and refactoring.
  • Passion for writing clean, optimized and scalable code.
  • Knowledge of one or more database systems and some experience in writing SQL queries, Stored Procedures/Functions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud offerings like AWS or Azure.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $28.00 - $43.27 hourly and will be based on a number of additional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
