Data Analyst - 24-010 - San Diego, California

AUSGAR Technologies has a new opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team of smart and innovative technical team members working in the Point Loma area of San Diego, California.

The program is a multiyear effort to enhance a Fleet electronic warfare system.

Candidates must be highly motivated and interested in embedding signal processing applications. Will support projects working on signal filtering, signal extraction and analysis and will be working to transition technology anywhere for an RDTE effort. Will also support projects converting existing MATLAB to object-oriented code or VHDL to integrate existing code into prototype units and provide support in test and analysis in existing or next generation embedded software and hardware.

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI a plus.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an accredited college/university and two years+ of related experience.
• 2+ years C/C++ programming or 2+ years' experience using a Hardware Description Language (HDL).
• 2+ years MATLAB knowledge.
• Experience with digital filtering.
• Experience using MATLAB (or relevant language) to supplement debugging of hardware.
• Experience creating test benches to test behavior of design before implementing on hardware.
• Ability to work in a small team environment and be proactive.
• Ability to work individually with little to no guidance.
• Strong analytical/problem solving capability.
• Strong communication skills.

Salary Range: $100-130K

An essential qualification for this position is successfully obtaining a security clearance issued by the Federal Government, which may require successful completion of a background check.

AUSGAR's salary range is dependent upon a variety of factors, which include experience, skills, education, certifications and geographical location. Our salary range includes a base salary and excellent benefits package as part of our total compensation.
