Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gather Web Application Request requirements from customers, clarifying using business terms and translating to technical terms
  • Write Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, tables, views, functions, and other objects to properly create and manage various datasets needed for web development
  • Use Microsoft Visual Studio to Create code, debug code, build Unit Tests, build interactive tests, and check into GitHub for Deployment
  • Collaborate with System Admins, Data Engineers, DBAs, Cloud Service teams, and report developers, to understand systems/processes necessary for upstream and downstream quality management
  • Digitally document using Microsoft SharePoint/Teams to collaborate with teams and customers
  • Utilize GitHub for source control management and Azure Devops for Deployment

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or another formal schooling from either a trade school, boot camp or online classes that are representative of multiple subjects in software engineering
  • 3+ years in C# .NET Development using Visual Studio
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server for Database design and data-querying
  • 3+ years of client-side experience in Javascript, HTML, and CSS
  • GitHub Source Control Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Cloud Service
  • Experience writing APIs

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
