Essential Job Duties

We are seeking a temporary employee to work in the CRISPR lab at NCSU for the summer. This temporary employee will perform tasks to support the lab members by completing lab tasks including washing glassware, making media, and autoclaving waste, preparing and autoclaving lab supplies. This position will also support genome editing research projects. Previous independent bench experience is required.

  • Experience with the transformation of Gram Positive bacteria

  • BS in Microbiology or Biochemistry and Genetics or similar
